the albums of all time

this album is one of, if not the best album i have ever listened to. the album was marcy playground's debut album and was released on february 25th 1997. it's a predominantly alternative rock album with some hints of grunge or post-grunge. this album sported 4 singles

• sex and candy
• saint joe on the school bus
• poppies
• sherry fraser

although they sported 4 singles, the only one that was a smash hit was sex and candy, and, to it's own credit, it is one of the best songs i have ever heard. i was extremely late to the party only discovering this album in may, but i don't think i've spent more than a week without it. for each and every song i could write a plethera of everything i liked about it, probably stretching up to essay length. this album definitely won't be leaving my roster for many, many years. songs like sherry fraser and gone crazy are like a coping mechanism, let that shit play while you forget about all of your worries.
this band has a lot of good tracks on other albums. two notable ones i've come to love are No One's Boy off of the Mp3 album and Hallelujah off of the lunch, recess & detention album.
